Addressing Legal Barriers in Urban Agriculture

  • Chicago Lawyers' Committee For Civil Rights Under Law, Inc. 100 North LaSalle Street, Suite 600 Chicago, IL, 60602 United States (map)

Join Advocates for Urban Agriculture and Chicago Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights for an evening discussing water access advocacy efforts during the 2020-2021 year, barriers that continue to influence urban agriculture in Chicago, and potential reforms for the future.

The virtual event will begin with a panel discussion including Equal Justice Works Fellow Emma Clouse, urban agriculture advocates, an urban grower in Chicago, and two to three pro bono attorneys familiar with land, water, and corporate structure issues that growers face. We will then take questions from participants regarding any legal concerns or comments on current barriers.
