For more than 50 years, Chicago Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights has stood with communities to fight for racial equity and economic opportunity for all. In the past several years, we have witnessed the most egregious attacks on civil rights and civil liberties in decades. Chicago Lawyers’ Committee is challenging these systematic assaults on our democracy by doubling down on our advocacy to protect voting rights, promote equitable learning opportunities for students of color, and expand access to fair housing and economic opportunity in all of our neighborhoods.
